these thirsty young ladies....smh! so that was it, her 42 seconds of fame? seriously, she would have been better off keeping quiet and probably bagging a professional footballer, as opposed to releasing this and scaring them off. i don't get the youths of today. what exactly is the point of all of this fame seeking?

What does that matter, he's still like 19 they both are going to make mistakes, and hopefully they both learn, it's a silly thing that's it. I imagine it matters to his wife. In Masons case it might matter next summer. That England attack is pretty stacked and he just made it much harder for himself. If he scores goals this season then none of what’s happened in Iceland will make a difference. The only real natural goal scorer in that squad is Kane.

Cue the faux moral outrage.
He's 18 years old. I'd love to meet the person who never did anything bloody stupid when they were 18. In fact, scratch that, I'd hate to meet them; what a boring bastard they must be, probably ask you if you've ever considered our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ whilst showing you pictures of interesting trains.
Complete "Meh" moment for me. Him and a mate hooked up with a couple of smart birds when they shouldn't have. Fill yer boots son.

The issue here really isnt being boring, its the .... we're in a global pandemic thing. Sure he gets tested frequently but does that girl? doubt it.

Normally yeh that’s fine but not in the middle of a pandemic where the entire sporting world is literally treading on egg shells to justify sport continuing. It was a dumb thing to do end of. It’s also not “faux outrage” when we’ve all literally had to give up shit this year because of Covid.

His youth is a reason for him to be forgiven, but that doesn't mean what he did wasn't stupid. If there wasn't any outrage he wouldn't think he'd made a mistake in the first place.

Your point is completely valid and the bird is attractive. Good on him. Other hand, Covid is still a thing. That's the stupid part.

Not using it as a justification but he hasnt been the first player to break the rules and probably won't be the last. Not condoning it but I'd imagine a bird like that would entice a fair few lads to break the rules aswell and not be thinking with their heads.
Lad was daft but aslong as he learns from it then all is good. He hasnt shot anybody, although given some peoples reactions to it you'd think twice about that. I mean Grealish was drink driving and less has been said about that.

I suspect lots of people do this all the time...especially young lads...but these guys and footballers in general are in the public eye so much that anything they do will be seen and reported by someone...or some daft girl puts it on social media... At the end of the day they were pretty stupid and should have realised that this was a very bad idea... Hopefully they will learn and be forgiven...

However he has a misuses does he not? If that's the case then the stupidity part remains. Hes acting no different to another other lad his age and 99% of the people condemning him for breaking guidelines are probably hypocrites that have done the same themselves anyway

It is during a pandemic. It wasn’t a holiday either. It was work. If you were on a course as part of your job and you got rumbled trying to poke someone do you think your boss would be happy? Especially in the current climate? I think they’d have grounds for dismissal there as well as a visit from the boys in blue. I get the age thing but I don’t get brushing this off as no big deal either.
