I think we were exceptionally lucky to face a PSG without Neymar, and our midfield supporting cast had a far better game than could have been expected. We got away with it. Full credit to Ole and Phelan and whoever else, but I can't see anything similar happening against Barcelona. Even with our first-choice XI, they are going to murder us. It's a bonus tie anyway because I didn't think we'd get past PSG and the way the season began under such a miserable cloud, getting to this stage is icing on the cake. But we'll get smoked. |

As good as Barcelona will still be, the names don't quite strike fear the way they used too. Take out Messi & are they all that?

I see what you are getting at but no, they are still strong all across the park. Our only hope is the lads step up instead of being the shrieking violets we see for chunks of the year. We need to get the likes of McTominay on who will treat Arthur like any other div from England. We need the defence to keep the brain farts to a minimum and we need Pogba to find his passes. We have the runners to hurt anyone. If we can find them. We are more likely to rise to the occasion than we are vs Wolves for example, we could definitely win, but our team is so unpredictable we could also get destroyed. |

And we're not 1/8th of the team that lost to them in those 2 finals.. Take out Messi they've got Rakitic, Suarez, Busquets, Dembele, Vidal, Arthur etc. They're head and shoulders better than us. |

Barca are obviously very good but our own recent form plus a bad attitude from a lot of the players leave me thinking we will get beaten convincingly over two legs.

we came back against psg during a time when we were in cruise control. barca is a different beast though and we are struggling. i dont see us having a chance in this one, but you never know. dedication and a bit of luck and we might be onto something.
