There's a women's world cup on? I would never have guessed over the last few weeks. Noticed there's no need for goalkeepers in womens football aswell, easily the worst position you can play in. They don't see to grasp the concept of saving a football  That being said I might watch a bit of it if I've got nothing else to do. |

one of my good friends, his sister who is from my town plays for England and Man City - Georgia Stanway so I will be keeping half an eye on how she gets on.

My barber’s a cantankerous old cunt, but he gave a very level-headed, fair opinion on the Women’s World Cup earlier on.
“They’re fucking shite, but fair play they’ve got some good skills”.
It’s their husbands I feel sorry for. They’ll be waiting until gone half 10 for their tea some nights if the ladies have a late kickoff.

What really did for her was watching Soccer AM near the end of the season and a couple of the England Ladies team were on as the 'professional footballers'. To quote my girlfriend, 'How can you pretend women's football is any good when this pair can't even get a free kick on target with a fake wall and fat arse fake goalkeeper? I mean for fuck sake girls. Missing volleys from 12 yards and a bloke who obviously isn't a real 'keeper.' |
