With the vast difference in quality from the top 2 to 3rd, here is a chance we could secure a top 4 spot this year. Chelsea risk being left out and Arsenal won't have the financial muscle to make significant upgrades this summer. Obviously we need to sign at least 4 to 5 more players but if we get it right then 4th place should not be an issue. Then next summer we could get our top targets like Sancho in.

Well said Paul, fuckin doom merchants on here have us in League One already, some positive energy good to see. League One? Isn’t that blowing things out of proportion don’t you think? People are commenting on the way the fixtures have been laid out, there are difficult games within certain periods of time. Some of these spells are definitely pre March. If you’re unsure have another read of the fixtures.

November seems kind to us. Build up a head of steam. Still think we should be looking at 12 18 points from the opening 6.

We don't know until the end of transfer window what squad we're even facing the fixtures with so I think the pessimism is premature.

Another point: with the exception of City, all our ‘big 6’ games at home are before Christmas, and all the away ones are after.

Ticket website is fucking useless as usual. Had a 0-30 minute wait for 90 minutes now.

Had some tickets in my basket but it kept saying I was trying to buy more than I’m allowed (I wasn’t, I had reassigned the second one to another member). Think this might be the first year I’m actually unable to get them.

Absolutely fuming. Paid over £30 for my membership only for their systems to completely fail, meaning I’m unable to get any tickets whatsoever? They’ve had IT problems every year (which makes it worse as they’ve not changed a thing) but this year it’s genuinely been unworkable.
Might ask for a refund on my membership, tight bastards won’t give it to me though.

August and September fixtures have been moved - Palace and Leicester have stayed as 3PMs. Interesting as usually we only have 4/5 3PMs a season, maybe we’ll have more this year.

Brighton and Villa games both not televised in UK. Is it just me or are we getting less games televised this season? Is our popularity to watch waning a bit after years of average football?
