Brilliant! Over the moon with this signing. Plenty of stats around that show him as the best defensive full back in the league last season.
Seems like he's a United fan as well which is perfect. We need players who are going to relish the opportunity of playing for and being successful at the club.

We need players who are going to relish the opportunity of playing for and being successful at the club. He’s a brick wall defensively, he doesn’t get beaten one on one. Hopefully he can improve his crossing a bit but that can come with experience and coaching. We now have 3/4 of a very good, very young defence. We just need that final piece. |

I couldn’t give a shit how good he is or isn’t going forward we need a defender who can actually defend first and foremost and he isn’t Ashley Young.
I think this is a good signing.

Can we get Lingard the fuck away from this club? I hate to think that the young lads are in a position where they would get influenced by cunts like him. Especially the new signings we make and also players like Rashford.
Really happy we've signed this young lad though. Hope he gets his head down and progresses in leaps and bounds.
