Well if anyone thinks Greenwood and Chong arent ready, they are literally lying to themselves. they might make the wrong decisions at times but they need to play more this season because they always look a threat. they are still raw and direct, not thinking too much just going for it. we will need that a lot this season.

Blatant cheating. Needless in a meaningless friendly It isn't. The goalkeeper impeded Mata's run. Contact isn't required.

To me the story of the preseason is that Scott is now approaching first name on the team sheet levels. I’d go with Axel unless we get a big money CB. His passing in particular is better than any other CB bar Vic. James is very good up to the point of final decision, particularly crossing. This should improve with experience and coaching. Pogba is still vital. Greenwood is Ravel Morrison without the insanity. Dybala moves us up another level. Maybe ahead of Spurs. Certainly top 4. We really aren’t that far off. Don't forget that AWB has slotted in perfectly and so far looks every bit the player we hoped he would be.

Another Irwin in the making basically.

the way ole talks about pogba, his best 11 and the first game against chelsea sounds very much like paul is staying here this year. i mean despite all the controverseries around him this summer, him and his agent talking out loud, i have to give credit to him for being a professional. looked like he trained well, shut up after the comments he made and he showed some real effort in all the games he played, including working and helping out defensively.

I'll remain sceptical over Pogba until he turns up consistently. Remember he started last season very well before turning it in, same thing in the second half of the season after the post Ole bump. If I were predicting his current mindset it would be "get a full season in at United ahead of the Euros next summer, agitate for move at the Euros"

I give him zero credit tbh, preseason was an investment by him in his own match fitness, that he was always gonna do whether he moved or not. And before we pat him on the back too much, remember that he publicly angled for a move in June lol. His agent has been at his lark to.

Wouldn't surprise me if he had no intention of moving, He's just doing exactly the same as what Rooney did for a better deal. Can see him getting the armband as well. Fits the mould for Raiola anyway.
