Sky News is saying one of the party tried to bribe officers. Defending his sis is fine by me but bribery isn't great. Just saying.

'One of the party' doesn't necessarily mean it was Maguire.

Yeah will be that or offering to pay for any damages or something like that, I doubt he's stuck a wad of notes in the top pocket of the police officer to make it go away.

Yeah fuck him. Put him in the stocks. Rival fans shouted "F*** United" towards Harry Maguire and his friends at a bar in Mykonos. Maguire's sister was stabbed with a 'sharp object' and he stepped in to defend her #mulive [mykonos voice] I shouldn’t have to say it but it’s best to wait for the facts before hanging someone. Sells more papers when you say a combination of "Maguire", "United" and "captain" every other sentence isn't it. Although I'll say this, this man could have rented an entire private island for himself rather than be among that thick crowd

'One of the party' doesn't necessarily mean it was Maguire. I never said it was definitely HM.

What is the reason? Surely it’s not the manager or Lindelof, so... Ole suddenly losing his hump with Matic for starters. Also Bruno; when we spend more time attacking we inevitably conceded fewer goals. But Bruno gives the ball away too much, doncha know...

In fairness as well what English tourist hasn't tried to drunkenly bribe the Greek Police?

1 thing though, this is the perfect distraction for ed The attempted bribery was him trying to get the police to press charges for nothing. Maybe the fight was Maguire living the dream and throwing punches when Ed said we'd no interest in signing anyone this summer. If he punched Ed in the face I'd build a statue of him next to Fergie's!

‘Sam Moore (witness): "This group of British lads were out for trouble and were being really abusive towards Maguire and his club — singing about the Munich air disaster and saying other vile things. You could tell that they wanted to have a punch up with Maguire’
Daily Mail
Fair play to Maguire. A bunch of (presumably) Scouse supporting scrotes singing Munich songs and then stab his sister. I hope he got plenty of proper slaps into these Shitebags.
The only thing I’d criticise him for is his choice of Holliday destination.

All those condemning him seem to be flip flopping. Obviously the truth is set to surface but seems there is more to it than the usual media witch hunt that was started off with.
