Tactics and performance is players and manager, buck stops with them.
We have an 11-13 players good enough to keep us in the running but if they aren’t played correctly then you look at the boss.
I genuinely believe 4231 is the way with what we have but I like most have said that the pivot with pogba ain’t helping him or anyone, the man is a maverick just free him up and say we have released you of the defensive burden, go show why Madrid should pay top dollar for you!
With James, martial rashford, Chong, Gomes and greenwood the supporting cast we should be doing far better, more goals more wins!

Dropping points against Liverpool and city will hurt but as they are so far ahead you quietly swallow it. Against saints and palace and wolves I really do feel it’s gonna be a long season.
I am totally just exasperated with what I have seen so far this season.
Errors galore, ddg, lindelof to name some, they must be better! The manager had to get a grasp and do better as saying being more clinical whilst true will get tiresome

Why are people already reverting to the same lines that were used against Jose and LVG? No manager has succeeded here under Woodward. That is not a coincidence.
We have a bottom 5 in the league midfield, have basically no creativity in the squad, are still counting on Young as an important squad member, our 2 “identifiable” forwards have never scored more than 20 goals a season, and we literally have zero right wingers. That is all on the people who run our transfer business. Get that all sorted and Ole is still sucking? Then it’s on him.

Apparently Rashford has scored 3 goals from open play in his last 20 games. How much was his new contract? No wonder we are struggling when players are bringing home probably double what they should be. What a mess.

If any of those manager had a proper footballing recognised style and bought the right players to fit that style dear I say it like the noisy neighbours and Klopp then they would still be in a job as the formula would be a winner. I think the purchase in the summer were good, but play your most maverick and creative player in a defensive role means all the pace in the world is redundant. Mctominay and matic, mctominay and Fred or mctominay and pereira freeing up pogba would be an ideal way forward to see what that yields |

I've been thinking exactly this since the window closed. Woefully thin on the ground. Get fucking Ibra on a plane asap! That could be a Henrik moment come January. Except Henrik was asked to come in and do a job not come in and be the best player on the team. To be honest with Ibra, I think the effects he would have in the dressing room would be invaluable than perhaps more on the field. We are desperately short of leaders, (All of us on here know this though). |

Everything about that game was fucking wank. Tactics, game plan, lack of ambition, substitutions were laughable. Sorry but this is on Ole as well. We are going to get slaughtered against the top teams in the league. We're playing like a mid table club and if we're not careful we are lucky that's where we will finish. Unacceptable from a lot of these players yet again. Fucking groundhog day. Fixed! |
