That's a stackable record regardless who the manager is If we had 13 points after 16 league games for example, we’d be perilously close to the drop zone. I don't even know what to make of this now, 4 managers now and it's pretty much the same shit week by week season by season, but the first 11 on paper should easily be able to challenge for that 4th spot, ole is starting to make a few mistakes now but those lads on the pitch are not helping him. It's just 1 horrible cycle.

We don't even appear to be pressing with that intensity we did in the Chelsea game either anymore. Almost like we've accepted we don't really have the players to do that already. I'd be interested to see how far we've run in the last 3 games.

First half against wolves we was very good but its all gone to pot after that we have been fucking dreadfull, we can't string a couple of passes togever, I also think we made a massive mistake in not selling pogba and replacing him, he's been terrible and looks like he couldn't give a shit, and when the 1 player who is supposed to make things tick can't be arsed to make a 3 yard pass with out it getting intercepted we have no chance. Man I would love a player like Carrick in that midfield now

Man I would love a player like Carrick in that midfield now I said it at the time that Wolves was a season-definer despite being so early. Up until half time it looked like we really could be onto something. Lingard gave the ball away straight from the kick off at the restart and we’ve been gash ever since. It was fools gold anyway. The season, last last years, was defined by the summer. We acted like a mid-table club and we’re getting mid-table performances. Our net spends these last two years has been Everton, Watford levels. So it makes sense. The hope is we have some very talented kids and given how the squad has been gutted we’ll have to play them so we will see what we have. And hopefully get kind draws in cups and maybe fluke a win in one of those.

Where do you draw the line with him? If we sign midfielders next summer to play alongside him to allow him to play further forward, what if he's still shite and lacking in commitment? We'll have wasted another season with him.
It's all shit but we still know where the blame needs to be directed. Ole may or may not be good enough but we will never know for sure if he's not backed 100% in the transfer market.
Tried to be positive before the season started as I couldn't be arsed going into the season with a feeling of absolute dread. Hasn't taken long for that to be smashed out of me.

Having said that. If Arsenal win today, we'll still be ahead of Chelsea and Spurs in the table....

Chelsea at home and Wolves away is as tricky a first 2 games as anyone had. The last 2 games have been absolute should've wons. I don't think you can class a 2 game run as being a solo part of the schedule.
5 game run from the end of Oct to the beginning of Dec consisting of Norwich, Bournemouth, Brighton, Sheff Utd and Villa looks the easiest run of fixtures. Can't wait for us to have 70% possession in them all and create fuck all.

I did. Up until the Scouse game at home, I thought we’d have a shot at around 75% of the points available. Wolves away obviously very tricky but a Renter team hamstrung with no new signings, losing their best player and a new manager wasn’t akin to facing their 04/05 team. I thought we’d have 19 or 20 points available out of 24. How wrong I was. Because there is no easy part of our schedule. At all.

Think we're all finding it hard to get used to these type of games no longer being guarantees for us.
Why should we be so surprised that we can't win away to 10 man Southampton? It epitomises this United.

That’s true. The run of form we’re in is helping, if that’s the right word. We haven’t won 2 games in a row for months now, we regularly lose away from home but are capable of putting in a big performance occasionally against the big teams. Bournemouth with a bigger budget basically.

I think we'll have more games like Chelsea which give us all false hope again and we'll follow it with a Palace.
The only thing giving me slight hope is that I don't think much of the other teams we're supposed to be challenging. We're all miles behind City and the scouse. Dangerously close to becoming a boring 2 team league.
I suppose this is how it felt for everyone else when it was us and Arsenal dominating every year.

Wonderful.
