The last two attacks Mata was available. He ran to the right of Greenwood, and then just now shifted over left and was inside of Rashford, both times open and calling for the ball and both times not getting it.

Created plenty. Inconsistency of youth and some slack finishing from older heads made it less comfortable than it probably should have been.
Threadbare squad cos of injuries, so just do the basics and qualify early.

That was our reserve team plus Rashford and we created so many chances. Should have been 10-0
Overjoyed for Greenwood though.

Take it. 3 points and young players got a run out. Greenwood, Gomes and Axel did well and should feature more, Chong struggled.

Well, no goal fest but a great game for the young players and debutants. It will have done a lot of good for Gomes and Chong. Stoked that Greenwood got the winner, that will be good for his confidence. Not sure what to think of Fred still. Gomes seems like a similar type of player can can play where Fred likes to play but Gomes is better. Would have liked to see Garner get in the game. Rashford has the yips, not sure what's going on with him in front of goal. Rojo gets MOTM just for being his usual insane self.

i have no fucking clue how we should keep it up in 4 competitions with that joke of a squad. not blaming the kids here but they need support from class players when being called upon not completely relying on them.
