“We’re not that far away” From what FFS , mid-table mediocrity? Exactly! Listen Ole has legendary status but what i do find quite annoying is his 'Mr. Positive - toeing the party line' type interviews. Okay, it was refreshing at the start after the misery Jose was serving up in his interviews, granted. But for christsakes, if Ole actually said something to the effect of it was a turd of a performance but using the likes of 'nowhere near good enough' 'really bad' etc.. something along those lines, even 'we were dreadful' most United fans would probably respect him for telling the truth. But Jesus, do not come out and say that we're 'not that far away' when clearly it's the polar opposite after a utterly shite performance. 'Protecting the players' is in one respect arguably admirable but at least admit we were terrible once in a while- when we quite clearly were. It's getting to the stage were i'm thinking he's protecting Ed and the Glazers in these interviews. Have MUTV brain-washed him? 'What's the problem, we're on a rebuild' 'It's going to take time'. The usual bollocks. How’d that work for Jose? He was too honest for his own good. Do we want the manager reacting like he’s on some lame fan channel? Ignore everything he says in the press as it’s clearly PR bs he learned from Fergie.

Spot on. Even Keane was beginning to lose words to use.

So Rashford goes off injured and we bring on Lingard. I was so excited, so sure we were going to turn it around.
Yeah, right.

Everyone just remember, it’s not a dip in form just a dip in results, still.

In the media this morning:
‘West Ham appeared to mock a song Manchester United fans sing about Solskjaer by posting a picture of their manager Manuel Pellegrini under the words 'at the wheel'.

Don't quite understand the criticism for bringing Lingard on tbh. Not like he had many choices. Chong was out of his depth in midweek and Gomes is even less of a centre forward than Lingard. Not to mention it being unfair throwing either of the kids into that shitshow so early. We weren't getting a result regardless. He turned to his only senior attacking player on the bench.

Sad seeing Keano just completely stumped. Never usually lost for words. I have the same responses now if someone asks me about us. Usually staunchly try and defend us and say we're just going through a bad run etc. but not anymore. Now goes... "United are a bit shit aren't they?" ... "Yep". End of conversation.
As I said yesterday I'm just immune to it now. Almost losing the will to give a shit because it will not get any better any time soon. Not in terms of us getting back to where we should be anyway. Watching City and the scouse fighting it out while we question if we're going to make top 4 is going to be the norm for the foreseeable future.

Fan action is needed now more than ever. Don't go to games, dont buy the merchandise, stage protests. Any action which hurts their fucking optics or their wallets. Tweets mean nothing to them. Before Woodward gets to scapegoat Ole, action needs to be taken. How come that bastard gets to sit there in the stands and there is no abuse directed towards him? Especially yesterday, I thought the traveling fans could have directed some vitriol at him? Even if it's a simple Fuck Off Woodward ? If its loud enough it will hurt the bastard.

The owners and that fuckwit Ed may be the biggest problem, but, Ole is quickly becoming a big one as well. He's serving up stuff at least equal to the shite Mourinho and others did over the past few seasons. Again, it's just another diabolical choice from the board to appoint someone who's done fuck all as a manager and is expected to lead this rebuild.
Wafer-thin squad that needed more investment, but that doesn't forgive him for playing the likes of Matic, Young and Mata on a regular basis, especially after banging the youth drum so often. Add that to him seemingly not having a clue how to get the best out of the majority of these players, and it's a disaster waiting to happen.
Being a club legend will help him last longer than he should, but eventually, when these sort of results continue to happen and fans get more vocal, they'll pull the trigger as they always do.

I don't think any criticism aimed at Lingard was based on yesterdays performance, it's the continual shite we've seen from him for the past two seasons that causes it.

I'm not talking about criticising Lingard, fire away, he's shite. I'm talking about criticising Ole for bringing him on, a bit much when he has little in the way of options.
