Yes. Ole still does not know what this group of players does well. There needs to be an ideology implanted into this squad by him, and that has not happened. Arsenal were languishing under Gazidis for more than a decade. Their fans were vocal and made themselves get noticed by the media all over the world. Gazidis had to leave. Now they've got a decent manager, some good signings. I mean, when did Arsenal last come back from a man down and 2 goals down and win??! I think first and foremost we lack creativity above all else. We lost 2-0 yesterday but had decent possession and in decent areas but absolutely nothing in the way of creativity. He needs to push Pogba up and have 2 with plenty of mobility and aggression in behind him, McTominay and Fred the obvious choices. Only problem with this is if he's looking to still go with a high press, Pogba as a 10 will have to work his ass off as well, which he can't always be trusted to do, although he did start the season looking more committed (like that's something to praise, should be a fucking bare minimum!!) When all forwards are fit we have good players for that system. Rashford and James out wide will run and chase all day.
Problem is the squad is so threadbare that when we have 1 or 2 injuries it all unravels and we're fucked. I think a lot of problems can be pointed at the squad. To implement a system you need players on the bench who can come in and do the same job as the players out there. We can't do that, we're replacing our quick and energetic players with Matic and Mata, who are the complete opposite. Now I agree that Ole needs to solve some problems himself. Matic doesn't belong anywhere near this lineup anymore, Fred is perfect for the way he wants to play, whether he's good enough is another matter but he's at least the style of player you want to see in there. Then he's also got to solve this creativity problem without playing Mata or Lingard at #10, Pogba is the obvious answer here, he's no use deep when we're crying out for creativity. Also think he needs to get the full backs playing further up, you notice everytime they're on the ball they're running at defenders rather that in behind them.
De Gea
AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
Fred McTominay
Pogba
Rashford/James Martial James/Rashford
This is the only way forward for me when everyone is fit. Means little because obviously players will pick up injuries throughout the season and shite will come in to replace them but it's a good starting point. [/b] [/div][/quote] Been banging on about this for a month. Why is it that a couple of nobodies on a fan board can see this as the most obvious way to go forward yet Ole can't....

I think he thinks Pogba can control the game from deeper, it's amazing how many managers have done this with him. As much as I don't want to pander to the fucker, if he plays you need to play him to his strengths. Let him go forward and have the workhorses in behind him.
Matic belongs nowhere near this side. He wants energy and players who work hard so he has to start playing Fred. Whether he's good enough is up for debate but largely irrelevant, it's not like we have many options. Beggars can't be choosers.

I just heard on the radio that apparently the club have released ‘a statement’.
Full Time Devils have put it on their Facebook account apparently.

So with Rashford out, who comes in for him? We throwing Greenwood into the lions den full time already? Likeliest candidate is Lingard but I wouldn't mind seeing Dalot right wing or even Young.

I should rephrase that, I obviously do mind, it's a fucking travesty but within the makeup of the squad, I wouldn't mind (but really I would)...

Unsurprising result.
I wasn't confident going into the game, nothing of our play this month or during the game gave me cause to revise my initial skepticism.
The team really is starting to take the form of the Clubs leadership, mediocrity through and through. We cant and shouldn't expect a dressed up common fowl to start laying golden eggs.
Oh and Ashley Young started and captained the side...... are we surprised we were shit?

Read into this what you will, lets hope he's talking about Woodward. Would love to punch the cunt in the throat. Fucking shit stain. the fact this was captured on camera pleases me. Is there anybody with Ed's email address that ensure he has a steady supply of this video for the rest of the week? i think he'll enjoy it.

Fan action is needed now more than ever. Don't go to games, dont buy the merchandise, stage protests. Any action which hurts their fucking optics or their wallets. Tweets mean nothing to them. Before Woodward gets to scapegoat Ole, action needs to be taken. How come that bastard gets to sit there in the stands and there is no abuse directed towards him? Especially yesterday, I thought the traveling fans could have directed some vitriol at him? Even if it's a simple Fuck Off Woodward ? If its loud enough it will hurt the bastard. more of that midweek OT showing is what will wear these fuckers down. empty seats everywhere, the top stands closed because of lack of sales, these things matter when image is everything. and to those at the top, those marketing men, image is everything.

The only way to have the Glazers leave is to make them so incredibly uncomfortable in ownership that a one time sale is more appealing than the year over year profits. Outside OT protests won’t make that happen.
