Confirmed squad for tonight: David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Victor Lindelof, Axel Tuanzebe, Harry Maguire, Marcos Rojo, Brandon Williams, Ashley Young, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereria, Fred, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Daniel James, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood. Where’s Garner? Need him to be making the bench to start getting a few minutes here and there, get him ready for the Prem. |

I'd put in Axel at RB and Young as LB. Axel did a serviceable job there a few years back under Jose when we had players resting for Europa.

Rojo and Young as full-backs. FML This is going to be fucking harder than normal to watch. Read a couple of articles about Ole’s training methods being more forceful this season. I know players are going to miss games injured but this seems to be more than a regular occurrence with this lot. I’m just grasping for a reason why AWB is missing, as per usual with this club no real updates on anything. I’d imagine Ole will address it in the pre game interview which is going to be interesting. Roy Keane is in the Sky studio tonight so I’d say he’ll eat this lot alive if they don’t get a positive result. |
