I know it’s an under strength side, but mata, Lingard and martial on and we still can’t create anything. Is it the players are crap, ole can’t coach or both ? Chelsea with a new manager and a transfer bad just beat Ajax away. Who will even buy Lingard tho ? We let the wrong Spaniard go too mata should be out that door next transfer window I think the lack of any kind of identity on the pitch in these type of games suggests it's both but still the point stands that the players are absolute garbage, it says it all that a 19 year old full back was comfortably our best player.
I'm probably just sticking my head in the sand but I'll give them a pass today, even though there is no real excuse from anyone for the abjectness of our display but it was a majorly changed side with players just returning from injury and some young players.
Zero excuses on Sunday though. I want a fucking performance. Especially seems I'm going to have to dick about finding a stream for it. Any signs of shit and I won't be bothering.

I'm at a point where naming individual players feels like missing the point. Lingard may not be a starter for a top 4 team, perhaps we got Fred's twin brother, Mata may be past it, Perreira never good enough and McT may one day be an average Premier League player. Still, there must be someone who could get these players to pass the ball and create chances so we can have a shot on target. FFS, Watford, Norwich and Sheff Utd register shots on target. If such an individual isn't on our payroll already then we shouldn't wait until the transfer window.

You are. We don't score goals. 6 in 8 since Chelsea, 2 in 3 in Europe (AZ, Astana and Partizan) and 1 against Rochdale. Why would Sunday be any different? |

Why would Sunday be any different?It shouldn't which is why I said 'm probably sticking my head in the sand but for those of us who did think we played well against the scouse and saw it as a possible turning point, we'll really see on Sunday as we'll probably have the same 11 as vs the scouse or at least very close to.
