Remember when we gave Phil Jones a new contract?
Why did we do that?

You might need a lie down after that. 3 goals! That's like a month's work in 1 day.

Gives me no pleasure to say that Mata is washed. Except for his cross to Young that was played to Marcus for the 3rd goal.

Three very good goals.
Lost interest when Lingard came on.
Usually defend Fred but he was poor tonight, games like this he's not doing himself any favours in.
Some very good football especially in the first half, could've gone in 5 or 6 up at half time, some not so good football. But we're through which is the main thing. Gives us a chance to rest a few players in the last two games.

That was enjoyable enough. Partizan are shite, but it's good to see we can actually zip a ball about. Kids get some good experience on a long away jaunt to Kazakhstan and we're through to the next round with minimal fuss.

I honestly think that the EL should be our primary focus. I suspect that the point gap between 4th and 5th this year will be the biggest in years.. and we're not going to be in the top 4

Dortmund or Inter could drop in. as could Valencia and Red Bull

Great goals, but I wasn’t as excited about the performance as some (1st half, second was just.......blah!) I’m not complaining, but I’m a long way from getting up in the early hours(metaphorically speaking) to watch this squad.
