The final goal for us almost came too early. If we'd not scored we could have kept the momentum and scored about now! As soon as we went ahead we seemed happy to sit back which was just so bizzare.

I've got one question to ask, why did he remove Martial and replace him with a defender? Reading all the comments, we played our best football when we had more attackers on the pitch, why did he remove one of them and try to get them to sit back? If we were at our best when we were putting pressure on them, it seems stupid to try and change that, no?

Given how we played Ill take the point. Poor substitution at the end though. We had all the momentum and needlessly went defensive. Defend him as much as I can but Ole fucked up there.
In all fairness Sheff Utd were robbed. But better than a loss I suppose.

A point would have been a decent result before the game. It was a very good one at 65 minutes. But it does feel shit now. Ole did so well to drag us back into that game but his final sub was too negative IMO, we were still looking great going forward and should have carried on that momentum.

I think it’s unrealistic to expect us to keep attacking them when we’ve just come down from 2-0 down. It’s natural for it to get cagey at that point. Either way a gutting finish. |
