Chong’s touch in the first team has been horrendous I'm not seeing a particularly bad first touch but more his decision-making needs a lot of work. He runs at players but never seems to fool them with whatever he's attempting as a feint or a trick move. He runs at the defender, defender gets ball. Still, this is the perfect match for him to learn, there's almost no pressure by Astana, completely sitting back and letting us take as many touches as we like. Ironically a normal U-23 match is going to be more of a workout than this one. How about now? |

shambles Youngsters or not, this is terrible. Then again, we only beat them 1-0 at OT with a 'better' side so.... Lingard scored, but he's been terrible. How is he even on that salary? Can't even shine against these? Hopefully Luke Shaw is very much second choice and Chong can get himself off to Zebra FC. |
