I was convinced he wouldnt be here next season but no one is going to give us 40m for him in this climate. Donny is gonna have to do some serious work to turn his career around at the club. He needs a great pre-season to begin with and he should get that now. I only see him being sold on the cheap to finance other business. |

Scotland team have decided to stand before matches to promote their anti-racism message. The symbolism is clear and obvious....standing up to racism in football. No controversy or confusion. Makes a whole lot of sense to me.

I've honestly never in my life been as underwhelmed about a major international tournament as this one.
The whole concept is fucking ridiculous to begin with, you have a host country and all games are played there; you know, like literally every other sporting tournament. COVID happening has just made it even worse and bordering on criminally negligent.
Plus, getting to the finals is supposed to be some kind of achievement, they've bloated it to the point now where it's literally impossible for any half decent side to fail to qualify; letting more teams into the finals doesn't make it more exciting or rewarding, just like extending Wimbledon to 12 rounds so pretty much the entire top 500 in the world can all play wouldn't add to it, it just completely detracts from it.
Maybe it's just the total apathy I've more and more felt towards football over the years reaching a head, but it's a massive, vacuous money grabbing soul sucking tournament this one.

He proper does not like Shaw. I think Chilwell is a good player but on their days for me Shaw is simply a better player going forward and backwards. |

I don't mind the "matches all around Europe" concept, I thought it was a fun change of pace.
But they should have killed that the second the pandemic hit. Do it in 2028. Ridiculous to be doing it right now.
