We are now that game raising club we used to complain about. Absolutely pathetic. I suppose one plus was getting Pogba back. We looked much better with him out there. It’s like we as a collective have amnesia. Pogba is a fucking cancer and give it a few games and you’ll remember this. |

Cos he is the best option we have. You can't blame Maguire on Lindelof regressing either. Maguire looks a better option than Lindelof ever has. I'm not blaming Lindelof's problems on Maguire at all. I'm saying that Maguire, for that much money is proving absolutely ordinary. I haven't seen the value for that much money at all. It was our choice to pay that kind of money not his. I believe with time Maguire will be a solid CB for the club but supporters need to understand how difficult it would be for any defender to play in a defense with no fucking shape. As the seasons gone on, it evident to me how little control we have against this level of opposition, alot of the times its because the team is only ever half cocked, we just dont attack or defend as a unit. Once someone gets beyond our midfield we are snookered. Against better opposition we normally play with 2 deeper midfielders in front of the back 4 which prevents both our CBs from getting exposed quite so badly hence we look much more potent and solid. There is a ig difference asking Maguire to defend a 10 yard area instead of 30. There is zero organisation in these games, we just never turn up with a gameplan that works. Our defenders are not rockstars so we need to afford them more protection. |

'Delighted with the application and work rate of the boys. David was a little unlucky to let that first goal in but every great 'keeper has the occasional bad luck. We were actually a bit hard done by today I thought. If Jesse puts his chance away at 0-0 I think we go on to win the game. He's so unlucky not to score there by the way. Brilliant effort. Happy for Paul to get a run out - fit at last! He's had a tough run with injury. We're glad he's back because we need him but we've coped okay without him.
