As much as I hate them, I think shit like this highlights the disgusting nature of Twitter’s football “supporting” underbelly as opposed to being symptomatic of just Scousers alone. Or probably just further highlights the haven that social media has become for pond life like this. Least he’s seemingly felt the repercussions of his actions anyway. He’d be shaking hands with Rio and asking him for a photo if he passed him in the street.
I think I loathe football fans in general on Twitter miles more than I do in day to day life.

After the game my FB feed was bombarded by people sharing 'Redmen TV' vids.
There's a moron on there called 'Chris Pajak', he's a particularly nasty piece of work, went for Ole and us as a club, he said some spiteful stuff I really can't repeat, but also:
'It's dere cup final, dats wot we've done to 'em. Ole will be dinin' out on that result'.
Wholeheartedly agree, they're really hateful pieces of shit.
