If we can take advantage - we probably won’t - a draw in Chelsea-Arsenal is the best result for us probably. We’d be 3 off Chelsea and 7 ahead of Arsenal with a win.

Next 4 league games are Burnley H, Wolves H, Chelsea A and Watford H. So the gap to Chelsea after that run might only be 12 points.

Literally the worst top 4 race I can remember, would be astounded if we pick up all three points here.
We've been so inconsisent at being, well, predictably inconsistent against lower ranked sides.

I don't normally comment on matchday threads, at least not before the game...weird but totally ineffective superstition / OCD...
However, please for Zeus' sake just for once take advantage of teams around us and Chelsea in particular dropping points...we fail to do this on a regular basis so just do it tonight...

Credit to Liverpool for being where they are but let's face it, it's been handed to em on a plate........... This brings me to what i have been thinking for a while now, the quality/level of footballer these days has just gone downhill, their mostly just robotic like athletes to fit within a certain tactical system. I don't enjoy the premier league in general as much as i used to......................maybe i'm just getting old......... "in my day" |

Can see this being a 1-1 draw, we'll be behind for most of he game but someone will pop up with a scrappy and desperate equalizer late in the game, thus letting Chelsea off the hook again!
