Also, Maguire was brilliant last night. He needs to produce those type of displays regularly but he was excellent.

So frustrating this season against some of these bigger sides you see us play like last night and think fuck we're not actually far off them...then we go and play lower league sides and its like we couodnt be further away.
So annoying.

I'm less bothered about Matic's red than I am the lack of cards they got. Rodri in particular should have gotten a yellow early on and then he too probably would have been off. Otamendi hacked through the back of Greenwood at one point in the first half and somehow wasn't booked. Infuriating. I wish we had some players with that snide. I think Williams might have a bit. |
