Bruno Fernandes: “ My love of Manchester United really started when I used to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play and ever since then I have been a big fan of this great club. For me to now play for Manchester United feels incredible, I have worked hard to get to this moment and I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success and trophies. I want to thank Sporting for everything they have done for me. It is surreal to hear the nice words that have been said about me from players that used to play for this team. A massive thank you to Ole and everyone at Manchester United for the trust they have shown in me and I can’t wait to start to repay that on the pitch.” Professional football players...

I know still he didn't use the "dream come true" line that most do(I remember some city players comming out with that line even though they had never even heard of city pre 2009).

Cleared to play in the Europa league aswell under the new rules.
Love the guys professionalism aswell. Wanted out but still gave everything until he left. Clearly loved in Portugal, soon to be loved in Manchester.

exactly the profile we should be signing. not flashy or no bullshit antics off the pitch. a player that just wants to play the game well. im buzzin we have signed him. we could have easily went down the erikson route and we probably would have previously

Finally we get it done.
I really like what I've seen of him, and what I've read.
On the pitch he looks a quality midfielder, great feet, vision, a leader, can finish and create, takes set plays.
Off it, he comes across as a down to earth, humble guy. He could have walked out on Sporting like so many others did but stayed and worked his ass off for the club.
He looks more like a Pogba replacement than someone to compliment him in the midfield, but I'm fine with that. If we get a good fee for Pogba and use that money wisely it could set the side up for years to come.

We are crying out for a free kick taker we waste practically all of them, can see him taking the corners too.
