I think we feared it might be bad this summer. But I don’t think any of thought it would be this bad. Let’s hope the journos do some serious digging. Can’t wait for the PR bigging up our current dross we can’t shift.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ashton quit in the near future. Or be relieved of his duties. The desperation in their leaks is palpable and is utterly pathetic. And packed with outright lies. They genuinely seem to take us for fools. I don’t think the briefs are directed at us. I think Ashton et al are trying to control the narrative via the neutrals and the punditocracy. If they repeat the ‘message’ enough that it becomes accepted as truth by the neutrals, the dissenting voice of United supporters gets drowned out and/or invalidated as whiny or spoiled.

Haggling over paying 18mil for a player as we want to get them down to 12mil. What a pathetic excuse for an “elite” football club. Who for? Telles?

I’m just glad this ‘idea’ that we’re rebuilding has been squashed once and for all. Along with cultural reset, reboot, hungry players with a British core or whatever guff it was. What a load of fucking bollocks that was.
I never swallowed it 12 months ago. Glad most of us are now on the same page.

To be fair on the Telles report, his camp is also pushing that narrative of £12 million to help drive down the price. When you consider Thiago went for £20 million plus add ons to £25 million then £12 to 15 million is fair for a LB playing at Porto. Of course it doesn’t excuse the fact that we’re a cash cow with allegedly no more cash.

I think we feared it might be bad this summer. But I don’t think any of thought it would be this bad. I thought we'd probably get Sancho and a defender. Maybe just Sancho if they were being tight. I probably made a few pessimistic posts worrying, but I never seriously thought it wouldn't happen. It was just so obvious, so straightforward, so impossible to fuck up.

Ed straight up trolling now.
#mufc will make a £90m bid for Jadon Sancho next week. The sum will be comprised of £75m up front + £15m in add-ons. Ed Woodward will inform Borussia Dortmund there will be no negotiating over the fee or structure of the deal #mulive [mirror]

This is amazing. Even by their standards. #mufc feel they've spent more than any other major club in terms of their net spend in the last three transfer windows, and that it is double the £87m average of the European 'super-clubs' #mulive [@andymitten] When you think about it, this statement shows how riled the club becoming over the (increased) pressure on social media in (pathetically) attempting to show that they’re up there with the other “super-clubs” Problem with that argument is that, apart from Spuds, after they sold Bale, our club have utterly spaffed good money on players well past their sell by date AND thrown huge wages at them to boot. So you can fuck off with that argument right there!

Correct my if l’m wrong-maths NEVER being my strongest subject at school- But subtract 90,000,000 from 108,000,000 and you arrive at a figure of -18,000,000, which, in any sense of the imagination is rather a large negative number. I would therefore strongly suspect that Herr Zorn-who sounds as though he should be an enemy of Superman-will tell Mr Woodward, in the politest possible way, to FUCK OFF! with this latest attempt to bend BvB over. I really fancy going to Stratstone Porsche garage outside Wilmslow tomorrow and lowballing for a Cayman GT4 , citing Ed as a precedent. I’ll keep you posted 😂

Thats that Omega Male energy right there. Zorc will rightly tell him to fuck off.
