For me if form continues from Fred then he's one of the first players on the team sheet. Our best player this season so far anyway with AWB a close 2nd and massively improved. His shooting is dodgy but as Stew alluded to he's not there for that in the same way Kante isn't for Chelsea. He's an enforcer and a workhorse...and a bloody good one at that. Fred AWB Rashford Best 3 players for us this season by an absolute mile. Maguire has improved, Williams and Greenwood have taken their chances and Bruno is pure class as some of us suspected but the gap to those 3 listed above is huge at present. McTominay deserves to be there IMO. Otherwise I agree they’ve been our best performers, with Rashford getting player of the season as things stand (though still plenty of football to play).

Certainly not this season. I’m mainly thinking of the summer, I still think midfield should be our top priority behind Sancho if we have a shot at him. Fine. But I don’t think we need to replace one of our best players. We can get someone in to compliment him but replace him, as was your original suggestion? Makes little sense. If he started passing better and stopped taking stupid shots I’d be 100% on board. Overall I think he’s been very very good for about 6 months now. But he does have clear room for improvement with the passing IMO (stopping shanking the ball with awful shots should be easy enough). I just rate Neves so highly and if we have a shot at him (or someone of similar quality) we should take it and I think Fred would be the fall guy in the midfield. I should also say, I might amend my original statement to put CB as a bigger priority (along with Sancho). But we should be ticking off all three if good players are available.

I don’t want to derail this.

BTW, Williams coming on the scene might be the best thing that’s happened to Shaw. He’s raised his game considerably.

Any news about Greenwood? Him going straight down the tunnel spooked me.

Fucking aweful half Fred and Martial have been shit, James making bad choices, Mason not involved enough. A good job we aren’t playing a better side with our dodgy defence too, fucking wake up the lot of you. Lol, another one for the ignore list. Fucking wibble Follows Karma - says it all really. Mods should check they aren't the same account

What I’m loving about Bruno is that you can already sense he’s not going to be a distraction and make it all about him. He’s not going to dye his hair Sky fucking blue before a derby or dance on Instagram when he’s recovering from an injury. He just wants to play and win. That is a United player. You forgot apologising on Twitter. Thats my personal favourite.

There are times that I genuinely forget Pogba is a Utd player.

I try to avoid the match day threads but it seems some can’t help themselves with their mud slinging and bringing my name into it even when I do. Try something more original next time you relentless bore.

I haven’t wanted a player to score for us as much i want Ighalo to score since Forlan.

Haven't seen the match or replays yet, but was the VAR decision to disallow their goal legit?

There are times that I genuinely forget Pogba is a Utd player. Technically he isn't and never really has been, not properly anyway. But I get what your saying. With luck Bruno is the final part of puzzle to him not being one at all. You're either fully committed or you're not. At a club like us there's no inbetween.
