Mata unfortunately is past his best. But he is still such a useful player to have around and still capable of producing magic, a pure footballer I guess, you don't lose class over night. Matic I thought was done but apparently went through a bad patch and recovered well. Both past their prime but we should keep hold of them, also because both don't seem to have a problem in accepting a squad player role. And they are two of very few "veterans" we have left.

Ajax out, though Getafe (third in La Liga) was a very tough draw. Arsenal into extra time.

I’m just on my way out of the ground, leaving the Stretty right now with my mates.
Thought it was a really professional display from us. Nice to see Ighalo get a goal. Scott put his strike away well, top goal.
Bruno is just different gravy!! What a player that lad is, that transfer fee was a steal. Fred’s two goals - he put both away well, he’s improving big time.
Thought there was no need for the ref to look at the bloody monitor for that long, as the Brugge player basically pulled off a save Dave would have been proud of!
Going to be interesting to see who we draw next in this competition but there’s really positive signs going forward I think. Great to be at OT feeling comfortable about the result. Good night - nice to be here watching 5 goals.

Also, I've just realised the Goals Show is being done for this round. Love the Goals Show so it's great to see. I'll definitely watch it in the other kick off slot in the next round.
