Remaining fixtures Spurs - away Brighton - away Bournemouth - home Villa - away Southampton - home Palace - away West hame - home Leicester - away Sheff Utd - home Spurs away and arguably Leicester away aside, that's not a bad run in. Need to keep this up. Getting 3rd would be amazing. Sheffield United is big too. But before Bruno arrived I would have looked at this and thought 'we won't break down half those teams'. Now, I'm pretty confident barring any injuries or struggles from playing too many games. Do Spurs and we have a serious chance of top 4 or even 3, which seemed extremely unlikely a month or two ago. Combine that with an FA Cup or Europa win and we would have actually recovered to have the best realistic season we could have expected.

Lindelof who has been poor this year was also excellent, baily was solid when he came on too, like a few are saying now probably 3 big first team players, and that massively improves the quality in the squad

After a result like that today I cant be arsed criticising anybody, credit to the fucking lot of them for it, another clean sheet and a massive win..
As a team we are so fucking different. We were on the back foot for most of that 2nd half and Dave had to make one save...ONE (very good save aswell seeing as he gets shit when he makes a mistake, credit when he makes a good save).
Most important thing is to not let this standard drop. We keep it up and it could actually be a very good end to a frustrating season.
Fucking buzzing after that.

I’m much more confident about winning the Europa League now. I’d fancy us to do Inter in the final.

Ridiculous decision from Dean. Fred is becoming my favourite player that didn't come through the youth system. That would have seemed such an unlikely thing to say 12 months ago. I love him. He’s one of those players who raises his game the bigger the match. The fact he had to fight for his chance means there’s no doubting his character. Absolute warrior. He's the Brazilian Fletcher. And I absolutely mean that as a compliment.

Need to keep this up. Getting 3rd would be amazing. Roy Keane said a few minutes ago we should be looking to chase down Leicester, never mind Chelsea. Can’t see Villa getting anything at Leicester tomorrow night on the Monday night football but it would be nice from our point of view if they did.

With Bruno in the side we will get chances...we just need to be consistent in taking them.

We need 4 points from this and Spurs away. We’ll get one. Top four will be over, but because of a gentler fixture list we’ll ‘mount a comeback’ in the weeks after and ‘finish strong’ (aided by a Europa quarter final exit to eventual winners Inter, and an FA Cup semi final exit to City, meaning no distractions). We’ll finish sixth and Ole will stay for another season as there was promise in those final few games against bottom half opposition. We’ll miss out on Sancho in the summer and it’ll all start again in August. I remember when Rustin made you feel better about things. Manchester is RED.
