This and the Spurs game could ruin our top 4 chances. We're seventh right now, three points behind fourth (Chelsea also play today), but just three points ahead of Crystal Palace in eleventh. That's just absolutely mad. It’s nil all currently but the Rents are killing Everton.

Maguire apparently will be fit enough to play today. Yea his price was ridiculously high but you can’t question his commitment and the fact he’s been playing like a top CB the past few months.

That's just absolutely mad. The city and spurs results eased the pressure off Ole earlier this year. Funny that our season has come down to these two games again.

this is huge. if we don't get a win here we are miles behind the top 4 with Chelsea winning.

We need 4 points from this and Spurs away.

The Chelsea result puts the pressure on. I believe we have to win this game today if we are serious about top 4 else just focus on the EL and get in via the back door.

We need 4 points from this and Spurs away. We’ll get one. Top four will be over, but because of a gentler fixture list we’ll ‘mount a comeback’ in the weeks after and ‘finish strong’ (aided by a Europa quarter final exit to eventual winners Inter, and an FA Cup semi final exit to City, meaning no distractions). We’ll finish sixth and Ole will stay for another season as there was promise in those final few games against bottom half opposition. We’ll miss out on Sancho in the summer and it’ll all start again in August.

Chelsea are significantly upping their goal difference here, which could be important if we do manage to get 4-6 points from this and Spurs. Our main advantage ATM is that our GD is much better than anyone else’s outside the top three.

Typical Blue Scouse. They show up and give it a real go against us and then play like shit against the Rents

Disappointed Matic > McTominay. I don’t like 3 in the back in general but I think it worked last time we played them so fair enough.
