I am all for getting in quality players and raising competition but whilst I fully get the sancho signing, where is Grealish gonna play? Genuine question because it won’t be on the left and I can’t see him being best utilised in a double pivot. He won’t sign to play backup to Bruno at no10 Quality no doubt but unless we go 433 maybe and he competes with the tiger that is Fred where do we play him?
If he really has a £41 million buyout then go for it and work it out later but if it’s a 60-70 million price I hope there is a plan as has been with the 5 signings so far

Honestly i think Mctominay can mature into that type of player for us.

Would think more Fred or Bruno, not Scott though Grealish isn’t a DM and I’d say that’s more scott

Anybody watch Eggheads?
Dave Rainford passed away yesterday. Was a massive Red.
Hopefully he was looking down and enjoyed today.

Did City worry when they bought Bernardo Silva? What happens if Bruno gets injured? We’re back to Lingard.

The competition has worked wonders for Shaw it appears so competition all over the pitch is only going to be a good thing.

I don’t think Graelish would be that bothered or worried about getting into our starting 11. Look at city’s bench today. Even without KDB they had Jesus, Mahrez and D Silva. If we want to challenge for every major honour we need decent cover in every position.

Obviously you can never have too much quality but we aren’t talking about someone who is a teenager etc, Grealish is ready for the big time and stage now I’d say and sitting on the bench is not the answer. We just need to be astute with signings and know where they fit

I think Yez has a point though. If Grealish has a buyout then it makes sense. But if they look for 70 it might be too rich. If our leeching owners actually spent the money we earn on transfer fine but we know the score.
This summer HAS to be Sancho.

We’ll get one. Top four will be over, but because of a gentler fixture list we’ll ‘mount a comeback’ in the weeks after and ‘finish strong’ (aided by a Europa quarter final exit to eventual winners Inter, and an FA Cup semi final exit to City, meaning no distractions). We’ll finish sixth and Ole will stay for another season as there was promise in those final few games against bottom half opposition. We’ll miss out on Sancho in the summer and it’ll all start again in August. I remember when Rustin made you feel better about things. Manchester is RED. You're right. I'm going to try and be more positive again. I'll probably fail, but I'll try!

Grealish would be great provided the price isn't obscene, but Sancho has to be the #1 priority and I'd want the club to make sure Grealish doesn't get in the way of that.
