I am all for getting in quality players and raising competition but whilst I fully get the sancho signing, where is Grealish gonna play? Genuine question because it won’t be on the left and I can’t see him being best utilised in a double pivot. He won’t sign to play backup to Bruno at no10 Quality no doubt but unless we go 433 maybe and he competes with the tiger that is Fred where do we play him? If he really has a £41 million buyout then go for it and work it out later but if it’s a 60-70 million price I hope there is a plan as has been with the 5 signings so far The competition has worked wonders for Shaw it appears so competition all over the pitch is only going to be a good thing.
Agreed but Williams is a teenager, this is his first season. Grealish has been getting banged on about for 2/3 years now and he has shown he can handle himself and some. The argument/point is not against having talent but I think some players like Grealish get bought as starters If we were winning things like city were or had pep as manager then it might be different. Even they have found it challenging to keep the likes of sane and Jesus happy

I think Yez has a point though. If Grealish has a buyout then it makes sense. But if they look for 70 it might be too rich. If our leeching owners actually spent the money we earn on transfer fine but we know the score. This summer HAS to be Sancho. Was about to say this. Grealish would be great provided the price isn't obscene, but Sancho has to be the #1 priority and I'd want the club to make sure Grealish doesn't get in the way of that. If the entire budget has to go on Sancho then so be it imo.

If we don’t sign sancho there is no excuse I’d be interested in hearing especially if he leaves Dortmund for another club. The talent is there, the youth is there and the price is darn fair. Bonus being he ain’t got nothing to do with mino

When the stadium is bouncing like that it must make Chong, Gomes and the likes food for thought about leaving. I seriously hope this is that final corner turned and we can end the season on a major positive and have a proper crack at it next year. No reason we can’t win a trophy this year either.

I don’t think Grealish comes in as backup he comes in as an option. As said, City manage to have an abundance of creative players and find time for all of them. If we want to become challengers again we need quality and options right throughout the squad.

Keeping shit like Lingard and Pereira out of the side should be the food for thought. I kinda sympathise with Gomes seeing that shit getting constant game time and he's left out completely. Chong on the other hand simply isn't ready for first team football. Needs to go out on loan, that's if we dont lose him.

I feel sorry for her fella, she'll be in a filthy mood tonight. What a bloody great win that was. Still in the Ole out camp, a good few weeks isn't going to change that; but maybe not both feet firmly in it, one hovering unsteadly in the air, unsure where to land. Is it too late for Bruno to get the PFA Player of the year award? It's both brilliant and seriously fucking annoying watching him, because why didn't we buy him last summer??!! Just keep this up for 2 more months lads, fuck chasing down Leicester, let's catch City. * * I know, we're not catching them, just getting a bit excited about United which hasn't happened in about 7 years.

Anybody watch Eggheads? Dave Rainford passed away yesterday. Was a massive Red. Hopefully he was looking down and enjoyed today. R.I.P. Dave
