For those asking about where Grealish fits in... remember injuries happen. This year was so bad we played our best player while he had a broken back to keep pace.
Lost my mind for the McTominay goal. Harry looked every bit of his transfer fee tonight.

On Grealish, Stew (I think) got it spot on. If he's available for 45M then get it done. If not and you're looking at 70M+, then maybe not, as we don't have unlimited funds and we really, really, need to sign Sancho.
Where will he play? Do we need him? Would he sit on the bench?
Yes we need him, you need good players. He'll play anywhere in the midfield, and he'll sit on the bench occasionally if the team is winning and he's being paid a load of money. If you go far in the cup competitions you can play 55+ games in a season, players need to sit games out now and then.
Yes we have Bruno, but we're massively reliant on him. If Pogba leaves and Bruno was to get injured then we're back to a midfield of Matic, Fred, McTominay and Perreira. The first 3 are great at what they do, but they aren't creative and they aren't going to open teams up, and the last one is shite.
It's dreamworld of course, but Grealish, Sancho and Kane would genuinely have United competing for the biggest trophies again, hell, even swapping Kane out for Aubameyang would do it, and due to his age he wouldn't hurt Greenwood's development, he'd be ready to be replaced in a couple of seasons just when Greenwood would/should be ready to be a real guaranteed week in week out starter.

Well that certainly made my Monday morning a whole lot brighter!
As naive and inexperienced as Ole is overall at this level, you have to give him and the coaching team credit when deserved, like today. It’s hardly as if the team picked itself and then went out and did whatever they wanted to do to get the result. Pep was pissed off, calling us long ball merchants and lamenting De Bruyne’s absence, sour grapes that the apprentice got one over the master (again!)
Started to enjoy watching us again, long may it last!

That skill at 1:04. Guy is incredible. Having a proper RB playing in his position rather than converted wingers or even phill Jones is not rocket science. god the club has done some fucking about over the years.
