Browsing through blue moon and I think I've stocked up on enough salt for the month.

Decent goon in the Stretford Lower The lass next to me on the other side of the barrier ('the posh seats') has started coming over at the end as it's quicker to get out of the ground through the quadrant. And she usually gives us a lift up the road to the car as well as she parks closer then we do. I was needing to get away relatively sharpish to get me flight home so with a couple of minutes left and everyone standing anyway she hopped over early. McTominay's goal was like being in an away end . Best celebration of a goal for a while. He slid right in front of us. Him kissing the badge straight below us is a memory that will stick for a long time. Don't know why but it felt as raw emotion yesterday than it has for ages.

Err, I could have told you without needing a fancy graph that a good defence is key to any football club mate. To quote Fergie - a good attack wins you games, a good defence wins you trophies.

Whom was it who used to make a thread with bluemoon stuff in?

The fancy graph does show that the last time we tried to play positively we gave away goals easily though. The promising bit here is the recent different trajectories these two lines take

I don’t frequently praise Van Gaal but I will say this-
Even in the last years of Fergie there was a sense that City had our number on the pitch. The 6-1, the capitulation in selection and performance in the title decider at their kip, and this carried into Moyes’ horror season, where they could have scored more than 6 in both games. The Dutch loon wasn’t having any of it and to his credit I think he helped eradicate any sense there might have been of inferiority, particularly when we drubbed them 4-2. We win some against them now, usually at their place and we lose some, but we don’t fear them any more. So far play to him for that.

Think there needs to be more respect on Maguires name. He's been a rock the last few weeks.

Possibly because, as Keane said, "United showed a lot of pride and spirit". Martial being frustrating at times aside, it's difficult to dislike anyone in that 18 yesterday. It has taken over a year, but Ole seems to have started to restore some semblance of the old United in this lot. Bruno seems to have raised the bar in terms of demanding how his teammates play/attack & with the midfield taking a grip on games & the defence not being as porous as it used to be, we are starting to head in the right direction

Think there needs to be more respect on Maguires name. He's been a rock the last few weeks. He’s getting it on here. It takes time for the national press to catch on. We’re only starting to see articles about Fred’s renaissance this week, whereas most of us on here have been singing his praises for months.
