guess hes wanting to win the tie in the first leg. spurs played last night too so not like they will be in a much fitter state plus we have more resting what they could have done. a comfortable 2+ Nil victory would be nice with no injuries

Loss of income/prize money from missed promotions, etc. Potential legal ramifications of denying somebody promotion or relegating them without a full calendar of games played. Plus the issue of refunding season tickets etc.
The gov or whomever was sued could probably argue that its in the public interest rather than a business interest to stop any events
I’d assume the issue wouldn’t be stopping or suspending a competition, but deciding relegation/promotion based on a different set of rules than what was previously agreed. You’d think any such decisions would require a vote/sign off according to their rules, but what would I know?!? I also thought this match would be postponed on account of common freaking sense. |
