Business Minister Paul Scully earlier , self isolation “should be a matter for individuals and employers to decide” Number 10 then said it’s “crucial to self-isolate when told to do so” Talk about Policy on the Hoof, look at their mixed messages yesterday re nightclubs. The government really have no clue, the majority of the world is now looking at us as a scientist does a Petrie dish!

Fuck’s sake, one million UK schoolchildren were out of school last week due to Covid-type reasons. God only hopes that proper funding is provided to help these kids catch up in the future. Extremely worrying.

i really dont know anymore how to behave and talk towards certain family members like my dad or my mom. from things like "this whole thing is a lie anyway, i had it and felt nothing" to "why should i get such a vaccine that might be very dangerous for me and its just something they want you to do for no reason?", shit like that is being said all the time. granted, they are not the most educated people so to speak but it still hurts to hear stuff like that. it makes interaction and conversation with them so difficult. both live in different places and my mom in a different country and we only see each other every 2-3 years or so. only recently i started talking to my dad again who wasnt part of my life for 3 years, so i cant just axe them. i am trying my best to avoid those topics with them but i can only imagine how many families and relationships are being torn apart by that. and it also shows our horrible standing as a society, where everyone now can get their opinions from the internet

Extremely worrying. Can only speak for the US but the months at home and online were a disaster for knowledge retention. My niece is 11 and said she learned nothing this past year. I pick up extra hours at a high school nearby sometimes and the principal stated that at the height of lockdown they had to send teachers to homes of a few dozen seniors because from March on they simple did not log in even once and would not have graduated. My whole family have had it but I’m regularly told by a mate that it’s just the flu.

Alrighty.
2nd Pfizer jab done. I've joined the fully vaccinated club; do I get a badge, monthly updates and invites to cool parties?

They’re THE absolute worst sounding board of all. I totally agree on your comments regarding the internet (in general) too, and social media in particular.

Fresh from his anti-vac demo in London last weekend, here’s Mr (Piers) Corbyn wearing another hat entirely! Who’d have thought? 🤣

i will hold off until as absolutely late as possible to have the jab. i dont want it at all. all my family have the vaccine and a lot of my friends do but im more worried about the side effects of it. im waitin for more data to make a decision. theyre now saying the vaccine doesnt protect you against Delta varients and if you can catch it and spread it i dont really see the benefits of it if im quite honest.
ive had COVID and so has my missus. didnt feel that bad. felt like i had a hangover for a week. ive been much worse off the Flu and i wont have that jab every year. i was always confident if i did catch it i would recover.
i respect people who have it completely but for me its a no, at the moment.
im young, fit and healthy and theres no reason for me to risk having life changing side effects.
what i do totally disagree with are vacine passports, even if i do end up getting the vaccine. this pass is a step too far.

Even if you exclude the risk to your life, it's still possible to get a high viral load of the virus and end up living with long covid. I know a few people living with it and it's not a jolly, plus these people aren't unhealthy. I haven't heard any proof to suggest it's useless against the Delta variant either. I think Vaccine passports or mandatory vaccinations are necessary in health and social industries. People moaning about vaccine passports when they want to travel to amber countries is a bit silly.

Name. Shame. This is a disgrace. Only 20% of our squad is vaccinated? These wankers are already dragging this football club into the ground, now I have to come to terms with them being anti-vax? Fucking dissolve this club in acid.

Unfortunately unless they make it mandatory you can't force them to take it, plus people do have the right to a choice.
