This is a pretty good site for UK Covid data. covid.joinzoe.com/ Also,is anyone else getting the impression that the politicians here in UK are holding their breath over announcing further restrictions? Almost guaranteed! They certainly are here in Wales. We have 3 weekly reviews,they were alluding to it yesterday & said they cannot rule out changes to restrictions this Friday. Yep,both Drakeford and Sturgeon seems to be ramping things up, unfortunately for Boris, ‘Party-Gate’ has seemed to have put paid to his imposing further restrictions in England , that, and the fact that more than 100 Tory MP’s voted against some of Plan B last night in Parliament.Oops! |

It prime time for Drakeford & Sturgeon time now that Boris is so fucked both really pushing their own agendas. The health minister spoke here last night & when directly asked if there was the prospect of lockdown restrictions being imposed before xmas,refused to rule it out. Drakeford is a twat,prior to being 1st minister he oversaw & recommend the down grade & withdrawal of many key services in the Welsh NHS. He is the main reason our NHS Service here in Wales is now under such immense pressure & now he wants the Public to do everything to protect it. |

Read yesterday that new cases of Omicron are already slowing down in South Africa. That coupled with the fact they're pretty much all in agreement that it gives a milder illness, I can't help but feel there's been an overreaction.
Even so I've started testing myself regularly before I go anywhere, as I don't want to risk passing anything on to someone who is elderly/vulnerable.

Looks increasingly like the PL could be postponed until the second Saturday in January. That'd mean for us that the Brentford (A), Brighton (H) (both already confirmed), Newcastle (A), Burnley (H), and Wolves (H) games would all be postponed.

Was wondering if they would say extend the PL season another month until June, but how the hell do you do that when COVID doesn’t adhere to certain dates! Agree with you about the World Cup, that could be under severe threat if they can’t finish off the PL season. |
