Yeah no, scratch that. The video quality is poor and the watermark and the logos with the timestamp everywhere makes for pretty sub par viewing. Did not have the same impact like watching over Netflix at all. My verdict would be to not bother with it.
Gonna wait for it till next week.

This isn’t fully about sports, but the OJ documentary that won an Oscar a few years ago is incredible. OJ: Made in America it’s called. It covers a lot of his American football career, but is also really focussed on race and OJ’s conflicting roles as an African American man in the United States at the time. And obviously the Bronco chase and trial are covered in detail too.
It’s currently on BBC iPlayer in 3 parts if anyone needs seven hours killing during lockdown. You won’t regret it.

We talked about it on here quite a lot when it came out. Phenomenal documentary.

Episode 5 starts with a tribute to Kobe and after watching it and looking back at it, it's so fitting. He doesn't feature a lot in it but the whole episode is about Jordan's competitive nature and how he always wanted to be the best and Kobe is the only one that got anywhere near him in that regard.
And then I went on and watched again Jordan's tribute after Kobe died and it fucking hit me again that he's gone.
But this is brilliant to watch if you didn't get the chance and it shows another side of MJ.

I like the gambling side of it coming out in ep 6 as well and showing how the press latched on to that.
Best thing about this for me is that I've not googled anything that happens so 99% of the stuff going on is completely new to me. If they had a United one for around the 99 years then you'd know what was coming.

Just watched Sir Alex Ferguson:Never Give In ,directed by his son Jason on Amazon Prime in UK. Biased no, although I could be I suppose, but this is just a thoroughly brilliant film, about a thoroughly brilliant human being, man manager, psychologist etc ,and, without doubt, the greatest football club manager of all time.Which would’ve been lost to us if he’d made just one decision to do som else with his life when he’d left Rangers. WATCH THE FILM to find out.But fate, bloody hell😂 Also highly emotional at times, and although SAF never bubbled, but my bottom lip was going a couple of times! I also admit to (shamelessly) replaying the final in Barca 3 times-at least! I really cannot recommend it highly enough.

The only criticism I’d have is that it probably could have been a 6 part tv show. The part where he speaks about that Rangers director who questioned him about his marriage. Wow. It also explained why he gave that infamous interview after the Scottish Cup final.

Mind blowing “I should’ve told him to fuck off” unbelievable, and ,as he also said, he wanted the knife to go a lot deeper than it did (1-0) when they beat Rangers to win the Scottish Cup!

Just watching No Hunger In Paradise, a film about young kids and football, clubs are now (apparently) ‘scouting’ kids as young as 3, WTAF. It featured one lad who’d been through 6 or 7 clubs (including us at the tender age of 6) before he was 12, he even spent some time at Athletico Madrid. He’s now a young teenager and plays for Matlock Town, but if he gets picked up and signed by a bigger club, they have to pay Derby County an £80,000 ‘Development Fee’ Unreal given his age! BTW, John Murtough appeared in the film, seems a decent enough chap ,and would appear to know his onions! I’ve not seen him speak before. Good film, highly recommended!

The Sky film about West Indian cricket n the 70s and 80s, Fire in Babylon, is tremendous. As is the Allfeck basketball movie ‘The Way Back.”
