I know people have their warranted reservations and critiques about restarting the league, but I am absolutely dying to watch football again. It's been such a fatiguing three months on this planet, this will be so very welcome! Anyone else feel like the bigger/objectively better sides will do well in the empty/neutral stadiums? I'm optimistic that United will push for top 4. Stay or Ighalo? | Inside Bundesliga Ghost Games | Threat to Newcastle takeover | Transfer window to only open in August? www.podbean.com/ea/dir-4nxut-9040ce0Listened to this the other week, and the Bundesliga player totally agrees that the bigger/more skillful teams are definitely capitalising on the empty stadiums.

I'm optimistic that United will push for top 4. Seems that way in the Bundesliga. More away wins so far I saw. Makes sense. We have three games against top 4 challengers (Spurs, Sheffield United, Leicester) and the rest will be against teams we should beat if we are a top 4 side. Chelsea meanwhile have to face both Liverpool and City.

Rashford looking in good nick. Obviously can’t glean too much from it.

Interesting to hear how well Pereira did, but you obviously can't read too much into these 'matches'.
I know many were baying for his head at one stage, but I hope he comes good to some degree.
I wrote Fletcher off early, and he proved me very wrong.
Never mind being wrong about our youth products, maybe he he can become a valuable player in the squad.

Norwich player one of two positive tests; played vs SpursA Norwich player - and one other person at a Premier League club - has tested positive for coronavirus in the latest round of testing.
.... So, why on earth is our game on Friday still on?

The Athletic reckon Pogba will be benched for this. They’re saying it’ll be Bruno, Fred and one of McTominay/Matic.
We have got to hit the ground running, so I understand a more cautious approach. Three big games in this, Sheffield United and then Norwich in the cup. After that (ignoring a potential cup semi) we have six games against bottom half teams, including 16th, 18th and 19th in the current table, before the final day at Leicester. Win our first two and we are surely favourites for fourth given Chelsea have to face City and Liverpool (though neither having anything to play for may be a factor).

Didn’t realize we had that many games against sides in the lower reaches of the table.
Really fancy us for top four. Would be nice to get a win at Spurs to sustain the momentum.

We excited for Friday then? It's been a long road and there are more important things going on right now, but I'm looking forward to watching United again.

It’s a nice distraction from the endless monotony of 2020. I even enjoy doing a weekly shop around Tesco’s now despite doing it online for years.
