Interesting fact: we have to travel further than any other team for the remainder of this season (2231 miles). By contrast, Watford have to travel the least (618 miles). We have to travel 1000 miles more than any of the four teams directly around us in the table, and most of the away games are evening kick offs too which apparently doesn't help.
Normally this obviously wouldn't matter, but Neville kept mentioning last night how he thought the travel was affecting Arsenal and their early injuries. They had to take a plane to Manchester just 3 hours before kick off; presumably we are doing the same for all our away games. If so, it could be an issue for us, particularly given we hardly have the best injury record. Neville at least seemed convinced that having a plane journey so shortly before a game would increase the likelihood of injuries that is already exacerbated by the current circumstances.

Based on that then I'm guessing Jones flies everywhere then?

Based on that then I'm guessing Jones flies everywhere then? apparently the club is in deep financial trouble. jones would probably need a separated, personalized entry into the plane to minimize the risk of getting injured while doing so. that would cost united more money so good old phil will stay at home to save some for the club

Struggling to give a fuck to be honest, other than something to watch on the telly, the idea of football without supporters is repugnant and a desperate act by the PL to avoid sponsors asking for there money back.
What are they gonna do. Play til August then start a new season in September? The French seem to be the only sensible country on this issue. Even Hawkeye cant be bothered.
Play the fucking Euros behind closed doors instead.

I received 2 x Now TV day passes from United as compensation for not being able to go to the game. I already have Sky so they'll just go to waste, if it would be of any benefit to anyone just send me a pm for the codes.
Not sure if you have to be a UK resident or not but googled it and couldn't see anything saying yes or no about that.
Also 1 x MUTV 2 month pass if anyone wants the code for that?
They've said they won't do it for the next few games because they're on terrestrial TV. But if Sky or BT get any then looks like they'll do the same for those games as well.

I know everyone has mixed feelings on this but there is nothing that can be done about it now. I'm going to have a nice bottle of wine and enjoy the game later, it beats endlessly looking through netflix for something to watch.

Like that side. Lots of pace. Would have preferred a 4-3-1-2 to squeeze Pogba in instead of James but that's a big change of system. I have faith that side can cause a lot of damage.

Looking forward to seeing if Bruno can continue to be our best player by at least the distance from earth to Andromeda

Glad to see Pogba on the bench. Needs to earn his place back.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to this. Hope it’s a good game. Looks like it should be, on paper.
