Imagine if we'd signed Pirlo and asked him to play as a 10. That is the easiest equivalent I can think of. We'd all have said Fergie was losing his marbles. Good comparison. I was talking about upgrading our forward depth and for some reason Neves was brought up. He’s a fantastic player but not pertinent to this conversation. |

Its up to him not to waste it. This club could do with some brains in that midfield. Square peg, round hole. His brains are useless if he's deployed in the wrong position. It's that simple. Understood, I don't suspect Ole would buy a midfield player like Neves and play him anywhere other than midfield, well I'd like to think so  Midfielders are specialists now, even central midfield players have to be played exactly where they want to play or they trip over there own shoe laces. |
