Same lineup as against Bournemouth. Get it won and then give players a rest / other players a run-out.

I’m surprised at how much I’m getting into this PL return, although the results and quality of play obviously helps!
Score early, let them come at us and muller them on the counter, or use the cunning plan of letting them score first, relax, and muller them anyway? I don’t mind which!

This game just got tastier with Leicester drawing at Arsenal. The pressure will be on now. Be very interesting to see how we fair. How often over the least few years has a door been opened for this bunch only for them to shit the bed and lose? Going all the way back to when we closed the gap to 1st under Van Gaal to about 5 points I think it was, when we had that great little run beating Spurs and City with Fellaini suddenly playing like a weird target man left winger. Soon as they realised the title could maybe, possibly, potentially be there if we just kept the run going, we imploded. Had won 6 on the spin over March and April, then won 1 of our last 6, including 3 straight losses. Same thing the last couple of years, every time Chelsea would drop stupid points, we would do likewise. Team of cowards who can only play when nothing to play for. Went on a great run under Ole, realised top 4 was totally on, shit the bed and won, what, about 3 of our last 10? Win all the remaining fixtures and we finish minimum 4th. Go out and do the fucking job.

Given the situation Villa find themselves in, this is probably our toughest league game left, bar Leicester. I think this is where the lack of fans helps us. I think if we win this we will finish 3rd, I really do.

I think if we win this we will finish 3rd, I really do. Us: Villa (A), Southampton (H), Palace (A), West Ham (H), Leicester (A). Chelsea: Sheff Utd (A), Norwich (H), Liverpool (A), Wolves (H) Leicester: Bournemouth (A), Sheff Utd (H), Spurs (A), Us (H) Chelsea are 1/5, we're 4/9 and Leicester evens for top 4. We should be finishing 4th at worst.

Should really be 12 points over the next 4 games before we meet Leicester at the King Power. Last game will determine whether it's a 3rd or 4th place finish imo. Chelsea could drop points against the dippers, away at Bramall Lane, maybe home against Wolves? Hoping Leicester drop points away at Spurs as they should win their first two fixtures on that list.

Sheffield United did us a huge favour last night. The focus is absolutely rightly on 3rd/4th but it's true that there's a decent chance 5th may do the job this season and that looks a lot more secure now Wolves have lost two on the spin.
