Fact is this is what happens when the manager runs his starting 11 into the ground as he doesn’t trust what’s behind them. We’ve looked knackered for a few games now. Moral of the story is that Leech Company Ltd need to put their hands in their pocket and improve the squad or else this will happen next season too.

I'll bite. It's more to do with your nonchalant, bordering on rubbish, attitude towards winning a trophy. The "at least it's in the FA Cup ". Trophies > Top 4 Fact of the matter is there’s more money in finishing 4th, which means better chance at improving the squad. I’d absolutely rather compete for League and CL. And get that this tourney means a lot more to an older generation. Going to be livid if they drop pts to West Ham, don’t worry. A made up TV achievement means more to a younger, more completely clueless, embarrassment of a generation.

You can’t even say that we lost this game due to lack of depth and quality in the squad. This was just a poor effort all around. We need big a response against West Ham.

I might be old school but winning a trophy is better than finishing 4th as a fan. Woodward/Glazers might not agree if they have to pick one or the other, but in a year where the dippers won the league I want a trophy too. I would agree but the FA cup has lost most of its magic. FA cup semi finals at wembley being a typical example? The overbearing nature of European football has not helped.

Never want to see Bailly on the team sheet ever again. Liability in every sense of the word.
Put James in the reserves for a bit. Needs to rediscover his effort and focus.
We need to buy like 6 new players or something. Cant fucking fathom a United team unable to fight on multiple fronts due to fatigue.

Well we've been on a knife edge the last few performances and today we've tipped over the edge and finally crumbled. They look knackered and an extra 48hrs rest for Chelsea gives them a massive advantage!!
Got to get over it, 3 massive points needed on Wednesday not matter how it comes!!

If this meant as much as you wanted it would have been a full strength side for both teams. Hope Bailly is ok. Get Henderson back here ASAP. Williams had a Paddy McNair-esque outing.

Anyhoo, need a reaction from Ole and the boys in midweek. If they can't summon up the effort with just a few games left then question marks will be over Ole again.
