Why not,if the funds were available, great finisher. Have you been in a coma for 15 years? Is there a single thing to suggest the funds are available? Here we are, unable to seal a transfer from a club which are known to sell their top stars for the right price, and this guy thinks we're going to be able to try and pry away the centerpiece of a team with Levy as Chairman and Jose as manager.

Don’t get the talk from some in the media that we need a new starting centre forward. Martial has been as good as anyone in 2020. A player we all knew had bags of talent is finally realising it. What we do need is a more experienced striker who gives us something different from the bench. Scholes was banging on about Kane last night. I mean, I love the guy, he’s my favourite ever Utd player, but seriously? Was who triggered the comment but I’ve heard it from other places too. Honestly wouldn’t swap him for anyone at the moment and if he does lose form, we’ve some young kid who’s looked alright out on the wing this season and who has an alright future awaiting him as a striker, some might say.

Think you have me confused with someone else there!

I like Ighalo but see him going back to China eventually.

I’d take any of those above. We just need another option. It’s not remotely close to being a priority area.

Dan James is not good. Was thinking he was just lacking confidence a few months back but he’s just fucking useless. Does pretty much nothing well. Give him a chance next season in the squad to try and progress but he’s going to have to improve an absolute tonne. I think he lost his father just after he signed for us to be fair to the lad so that would have naturally have an effect on him. There was an initial spell were he was really good for us, he had a purple patch scoring goals. He scored an outstanding goal away at St. Mary's versus Southampton if i'm not mistaken. His confidence looks shot to be honest, he's now running the ball out of play etc. I still wouldn't totally give up on him. Also, it seemed like he was getting thrown into the team in that wing position when we were initially thinking of just gradually putting him in to the first team. Personally, i'd wait and see with Dan James - i'd give him next season. He’ll probably get more than next season. Lingard is probably trying to get another one despite being shite. I’ve seen little to suggest he’s anything above Championship level. If there’s any lesson to be learned under the Glazers it’s that bang average players will get plenty of time to prove that’s all they are.

From what i gathered initially after we signed him we were looking to bed him into the club and gradually introduce him eventually into the first team. As we had limited options in that wing position, he was pretty much playing a lot of games there when that actually wasn't our original intention - i mean, that's hardly the lads fault. He look knackered, looked burned out. At the same time, if he doesn't do it over the next season or two i don't know - we'll have to look at it. If it doesn't work out, i'll be the first to hold my hands up - but i'd give him the benefit of the doubt by at least giving him next season. I stand by what i said, i don't think his father passing and the overuse of him in the wing position has helped at all. We'll see.

Apologies pal, worded that incorrectly, it was over a certain period of time when he was initially thrown into the team he look wrecked. But anyway, i'd give him another season. I'll leave it there, i'm repeating myself. Just my opinion.

Roma have won 7 and drawn 1 if their last 8. Slight oversight. As is the fact that the Spanish League is considerably stronger than the Italian one. As I was saying.
