Great for Rashford, hopefully he can go on a run now.
We have some bloody good players. Mason is unbelievable for his age, Bruno is Bruno and Bailly has to start now. He’s prone to a madness but at least he’s brave. Hendo looks a very composed keeper. Dave needs to be on his toes all the time now. If Hendo gets the spot he won’t relinquish it.
If only we had owners we cared about winning, there are a number of very promising pieces at the club.

Completely agree...sometimes I feel that we could be only a fraction away...our first 11 to maybe 14 are at least top 4 but we need depth and a little more quality in defence and a capable replacement for Matic... Yes Sancho would push us to a title contender but we need that solidity in defence... |

Just hoping the this game has shaken a few more creaking joints lose, and upped their confidence.God knows, we needed something ,after last Saturday’s debacle.
Although Ed, now far more content given tonight’s result , switches back to “monitoring” mode.

Sky comma talking like we’ve been pushed all the way. I honestly think we’ve kept them at arms length, bar the Hendo save. One big chance, that's all Luton had. Even that was a scrapper. We didn't run up a score but they never really threatened at all. Doesn't fit the Sky chosen narrative though. |

Also (2020, no signings) me: Ya know, all things considered, I’d have blown this off. I wouldn’t have played anyone remotely close to the first team tonight bc we’re gonna be so thin that we can’t afford to add extra miles on players we’re gonna need in the league/EC/FAC.
First time ever I’ve felt like this.

I don't get to see as many games at the minute because of my situation, but for me Amazon were great when they covered a game for us last season. Its a shame they don't get more! It wasn't great again,side clearly lacks direction,we are one trick ponies,lets sit back,even Luton sussed it.
Why Woodward/OGS didn't go for Thiago has to be up there with Moyes decision to not sign him,we lack a someone that can pass a ball forward with purpose continually for 90 mins,however there was some crumbs of comfort.
Henderson did what you would expect a top keeper to do when he has largely nothing to do all game,by still concentrating & making an important save.
Bailly needs a run of games but should start Vs Brighton,far more pace than Lindelof.
Williams offers more than Shaw.
DVB always looked like he was able to find space & the more game time he gets,he better he will become.
Mata does what Mata does.
Rashford will hopefully get some confidence from a goal.
Greenwood is wasted out wide & should be told that he is in competition directly with Martial for the 9,I think we would see an even sharper more focused Mason then.
Not bothered listening or reading what OGS had to say after the game,assume it was much of his usual bluff.
