Another game. At home. Playing a Jose team.
Just win, dickheads.

Massive game, must win, Ole has a strong squad all of a sudden so doesn't matter what team he picks

Quite a big game. I could see pretty much any result right now, both teams are so inconsistent.

Bailly better start this. The rest of the team still more or less picks itself. Which shouldn’t be the case after a transfer window but Woodward and Judge.

No excuses for either side, both sides have rested players and although Spurs have one or two injuries Son in particular is a big miss, they should have enough cover in the squad. Bale is still injured so Ole has no excuses and we must perform and show what he thinks and says that we can do, especially as we are the Home side
Ole has had over 200 million to spend since he took over and I still feel he wasted the transfer money from Lukaku (who cant stop scoring for Inter and is breaking records in the Italian top flight for them) When he used that revenue plus over 10 million more to sign Maguire, who looks anything but the worlds most expensive central defender. It is only early doors yet but losing to CP then scraping a lucky win against BHA and then beating BHA B team in a scrappy match tells us nothing. Sunday the team and manager must perform and no more excuses. Time will tell

Son is one of the very best players in the league. There’s no covering losing a player of his talent. Also, Martial is a better player than Lukaku. It was absolutely the right decision to sell him.

I said no excuses for either side as their managers ought to have big enough squads to cover losing the odd player to injury, I pointed out that Son would be a big miss but that is why teams have squads.
I never said that it was right or wrong to sell Lukaku that is the manages choice but whether Martial is better than Lukaku or not is just a matter of opinion not fact. Lukaku is scoring for fun lets hope Martial can follow suit.
What I actually said was that I think that the money that Ole got from the sale of Lukaku (around 70 million) could have been better spent than throwing it at Maguire plus another 10 million because he looks anything but the worlds best central defender as such a price tag implies he should be.
Leicester never suffered from letting him and other high profile players in their team go, so maybe they were not that influential on Leicesters results, maybe it was the coaching and tactics making them look good?
Anyway no excuses for either side and its time for our manager and team to earn a small portion of the money that is thrown at them every week. Time will tell.

Clearly we had our pants pulled down by Leicester (who do have a better manager than us, totally agree) and the fee was ridiculous. But it was still the correct decision to sell Lukaku. He had plenty of chances and always came up short in the big moments. Which is why he’s never won a trophy in his career to the best of my knowledge.

Well if ever a manager needed to win a game,it's Sunday. Why? He's months away from being close to the sack, especially now he's covering for the board's ineptitude.

Seems to be a lot of hate for Ole, he’s generally set the teams up well in games against the top 6. I expect a good result here.
