I’m not sure why this is even a thing. If Solskjaer gets the boot before Christmas unless the board promise new signings in January for the new manager then it’s not happening. If he doesn’t it’s obvious he’s going to have to make do .

On deadline day, Everton offered to cover the entirety of Sergio Romero's £100,000-a-week wages as well a £2m loan fee to #mufc. United wanted to hold out for a £8m transfer fee. Romero was annoyed at the decision and feels he should be allowed to leave #mulive [@theathleticuk]

So we carry on paying him thousands a week despite him not even being in our CL squad and being a third choice keeper. Sounds like Glazer value for money thinking right there. SHIT for brains.

As shit as we are, there's a decent chance that we aren't miles away come 1st January, given how the other teams look. The title will likely be there to be bought for anyone willing to invest a couple of hundred million in January, just like the Leicester season (though no one ever did, several teams should have, especially us and Arsenal). Even if we got bought by someone decent in December, we'd have a chance at this year's title.
Obviously we won't, but it's yet another missed opportunity to be annoyed about.

Well as long as it doesn’t cost them too much money. That’s why they bought into the Moyes ‘project’. Decent owners would have told Fergie ‘ no chance ‘.

Not sure whether this is the right place to put it but apparently we have agreed on a first refusal on a 16 year old called Luis Gomes from Sporting Lisbon...
The agreed fee is £14m...
If true then it would seem we are able to conduct business for kids much more easily than for established stars...
I don't know who is negotiating these deals but maybe we should let them have a go at the senior job...
If it is still Ed and Judge then you have to ask why the stark contrast...

Probably down to potential sell on value for the grasping Glazers ?
