I think Haaland is a top striker but if mino will speak for him the way he does pogba we need to had some serious conversations with the player and his dad before any bids are made. We cannot have this mino/pogba situation again.
All being said I just cannot see us bidding for him and I’d strongly be telling the coaches to just play the hot cake striker we have in Greenwood as a no.9 and let him develop, no more wing play just play him up top centrally as sole striker or in a pair.

We’ve already briefed that we won’t be in for Haaland due to Mino.

We’ve already briefed that we won’t be in for Haaland due to Mino. Mino is a gobshite, just seems mental that we would never deal with him again and possibly miss out on some world class players

It’s needs a conversation with the player and his dad, simple as. The dad was a player, the lad seems to have a very mature head on his shoulders. Pretty sure if they turned around and said ‘Mino negotiates the contract, other than that he will keep his mouth shut and do as told’ we won’t have any issues with bidding if we want the player.
If we can’t get that commitment from any player mino has I’d run a mile. The guy takes the biscuit, I am all for doing a job but there should be some class and finesse, others are doing it and are getting on just fine.

Talk Pereira might be coming back as he's not playing at Lazio.

We’ve already briefed that we won’t be in for Haaland due to Mino. I agree with this position. Fuck Mino, I want nothing to do with him and I'll take a pass on all of his players. He cant represent everybody and there will be other great talents out there to be had.

Talk Pereira might be coming back as he's not playing at Lazio. Goodness hope not. The move was clearly to get rid on him, reality is his agent should have contacted all clubs in Spain as he did a decent job at Valencia

That moneys going into all sorts of dirty hands might as well get a trophy out of it.

I want nothing to do with another Mino player.... idc if it keeps us from winning trophies. He is a disease of an Agent and has only created issues for this Club, no fucking thanks.

That moneys going into all sorts of dirty hands might as well get a trophy out of it. if it were so straightforward it would be an easy yes. but we all know the issue isn't really about the money being spent, rather than the disruptive force he is for the clubs of his clients (when he doesn't see eye-to-eye with the management in place). We, as a club, don't take well to agents making public pronouncements about their clients' contract negotiation status or desires for new career challenges. It has been an unwritten rule that such things are managed behind doors, and when an agent deviates from that policy it has had an deleterious effect on squad performance and supporter temperament. Mino doesn't give a fuck about that, his only priority is his and his clients' desires. Having seen how he operates and determined that it isn't compatible with the way the club operates, it would be poor judgement to invite such a character into the club, especially when he would be representing probably your most valuable playing asset. Thus making the impact of his inevitable public pronouncements that much more pronounced.

Haaland is perfect for us. He has Man Utd player written all over him. But I have no issue with not going for him simply because of who his agent is. I genuinely want us to make it club policy not to sign Raiola clients as soon as Pogba fucks off. I really don't care if it means we miss out on some great players.

He is just garbage of a Agent and never dealing with him again would make me happy.

We’ve already briefed that we won’t be in for Haaland due to Mino. Is he actively looking for a move or are the press taking ‘good player with release clause’ and jumping to extreme conclusions? I ask because I don’t know why he’d want to leave Dortmund this window unless his agent needs a new island, in which case we don’t need to be a stepping stone on the way to Madrid.

Haaland is amazing. But I'd rather we gave the kid who could easily be as good as him up top a proper go there instead, and bought a real right winger instead of sticking said kid out there.
