Also - credit to Ole again. Not as obvious and special as his PSG subs, but for the second CL game in a row he was able to tip a game in our favour with his subs. Given it’s his biggest weakness IMO it’s great to see.

One thing that seemed to stick out, at least to me, is we kicked the shit out of both PSG and Leipzig and I absolutely loved it Mentioned that to my dad. Committing little highly fouls, whilst also leaving a boot in. Nothing that looks too nasty, but certainly puts the more continental sides off their game a bit. |

Can we have today’s Pogba more often? dont we wish for that after every single one of his good games? and then he just goes into passenger mode again. the good thing now is, there is actually pressure on him. we got a lot of good midfielders and every game 2 or 3 of them need to sit on the bench or in the stands. pogba isnt an automatic pick anymore, it might or might not force him into more consistency, we'll see. but at least we now have plenty of alternatives |

We’re a real Jekyl and Hyde team. What a fantastic performance, probably more enjoyable to watch as it wasn’t a fluke.
I have to remind myself that under the mind-numbingly boring LVG and JM years I stated that I could live with ups and downs, providing the ups were us playing exciting football worth getting up early for. Well, I’m certainly getting what I wished for, but now feel frustrated that we have to have the lows when it’s obvious the team could challenge if the stars were to align every week!

To be honest from the moment cavani was signed some of us her said go to a diamond!
2 upfront knowing that at least one of the 2 can move right or left, and in the 4 one sits, one can go box to box, one further up and the other really supporting where required.

To persist with the formation you need another matic type who will sit, wonder if TFM can do that role?
Scott would be more the rotation with Fred as they both have an abundance of energy and prefer going box to box.
Donny is intelligent enough to rotate with pogba or Bruno, mata also offers cover for Bruno.
What this means for the wingers we bought, God knows

Only saw up to HT ,liked what I saw from DVB ,his passing was sharp & efficient.
The ball Pogba put in for Greenwood to score was why he must start over McTominay whenever he is fit.
Assume RB had an real off night because in the 1/2 that I saw they were very much in the game.
