Just saw Oles interview. Thought he was going to cry at one point. He's right about the timing of games. Hope the injuries aren't too bad, and at least there is a break now.

So that team today is the team we need to be playing, pognas game time should be given to vdb, and then shaw or telles get the lb position to fight over, we really need to find a proper focal point up top though, we need that 30 goal a season striker

Martial. Shit might be slightly unfair. But would you pick him over, cole. York, Ole, RVP, Rude, Hughes, cantona, whiteside, even Dublin and Sheringham. I would have any of them on the pitch before him.
Cavani is 35 chased the ball harried defenders and got a goal he was on for just a few minutes and did more than martial did all match for me
Anyway, I thought fred and Scott were great , bruno brilliant. Whole defence played well. Overall great result now don't screw it up next match

Martial looks uninterested this season. But then this is nothing new with him. He flutters between this form and the form he showed last season. I dont think that will ever change while he's here.
Thought McTominay, Fred and Maguire were outstanding today. As was Shaw. Won't mention Bruno because there's no need, the guy is just incredible and even more of a reason that I won't miss Pogba when he eventually fucks off.
Games like this, PSG and Leipzig are prime examples that there is definitely something there with the squad and with Ole imo. But for some reason we're flipping a coin when it comes to whether we perform or not on the day. I agree that Ole most of the time seems out of his depth but there are signs proving he can get it right. Why we can't do it on a regular basis I dont know.
