They were there for the taking. But we never went for it. No way that would have been acceptable in front of fans. We had a to send out a statement but couldn’t muster up the energy.
This team is going nowhere.

We have played Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal and City at home now this season. And amassed 2 points from 12, and scored 1 goal, a penalty .. Rebuild utopia.

The fact ed reckons the board can see progress is very very worrying, as stew said, we're going nowhere fast 😳

2 points dropped there. They were there for taking. We weren't even interested in taking advantage 🤦♂️.

This team is going nowhere. I think we were as well tbf. one positive is we didn’t look as shambolic today as we have recently and after a Shitty week I suppose a point against a decent city team isn’t too bad(most of us feared a bit of a hammering)

That was the most dormant Pep City side we’ve played yet. Too bad we couldn’t capitalize on it..some players played decently but all in all it was a very cowardly performance.
I think Pep knew he just needed to make sure we couldn’t counter attack to completely stifle our only move.

Keano has just said players are more worried about being friends with everybody instead of winning football matches. 'Proper teams go and try to win games.'
That was utterly, soul-destroyingly, dire.

Micah Richards really is totally shite as a pundit. Banging on about how brilliant we were defending as if city were only complete dross because we stopped them.
And completely ignoring Keane's and Neville's points that city look off challenging the title.
He's like a neverwas Summerbee.

Micah Richards the sky pundit posing with the silly Flat cap is doing his best to try and put some spin on this none event, Keane is rightly disgusted, lol it is like the Emperors new clothes but most fans are not so gullible to believe the false hype. Anyone that saw the game knows that both teams were happy to accept a draw, the game was played like a testimonial and both sides dropped 2 points against the real teams that want to win the league.
