You cant dismiss us as contenders. We're 3rd, 5 points off the top with a game in hand. Havent played the best either. If we sort our home form out there's no reason why we can't be challenging.

Doesn’t even have to be hugely expensive, one of those South American types Atletico Madrid seem to regularly unearth, the kind that would kill their own nan to stop a shot. |

Not sure what that says about us long term tbh. We are just wildly inconsistent, it helped playing against Leeds today. Leeds only have one gear and getting those two early goals made it easier for us to pick them off at will. The match could of been 10-2 or 6-4 because defensively we are still shit and liable to give crappy goals away when it matters. Like someone else said, just enjoy the result. |

We just need defenders that can defend. The mistakes we make at the back aren't a result of poor coaching. They're a result of poor decision making |

Playing James damn good move, the pace to break them on the counter was good and of course Scott and Fred right choice to battle in the middle.
Bruno 2 goals and assist, they better start purring over him like de bruyne.

I think that’s what’s gonna cost us in the end. Had Ole been properly backed in the summer (or Jan) I’d feel a lot more confident. We’re a bit like a house of cards at the moment. If all goes right we could pull this off, but if we get an injury/suspension or two or a few unlucky results and we could collapse. |

It also must be said that Ole got the tactics spot on today. Most of us (myself included) were bricking it after seeing the lineup but Ole saw them coming and ripped our bitterest rivals to pieces.
Also, If someone had told you on the day the window shut that we’d be 5 points off top with a game in hand in late Dec, put 6 past Leeds and be topping our CL group going into the final match, you’d have been over the moon. Plenty of positives so far.

Decent result against a team that doesn't defend. Don't think we'll get an easier game all season.
Sooner or later Maguire and lindelof have to be dropped. I've Seen it enough times over the years to know that we're not winning anything significant with this defence. We're like the Scouse before Van Dijk we score for fun but concede for a living.
